Education

Education is key to ensure that we all can aspire to greater things. Whether it is an online course, further education or just exploring a new hobby. You can rest assured that your branch will support and guide you to ensure that you get the best from your learning journey.

CWU WULF Project
Learning Together 3 / Dysgu Gyda’n Gilydd 3

The CWU WULF (Wales Union Learning Fund) project would like to support you, your families, friends and colleagues if you live or work in Wales, with access to learning opportunities. Our current WULF project commenced on 1st April 2020 and will end on 31st March 2021.

These learning opportunities can provide you with skills for your current role, fill gaps to apply for promotion and even change your career! They can also provide you with methods to enhance digital inclusion, increase your knowledge of the Welsh language as well as providing support for your Health and Well-being.

For members we have free online courses via CWU Leftclick which can be accessed via education.cwu.org. These courses may help you in your daily life; at work, at home, for your personal development, for your hobbies – or just for the fun of it! Some of the courses have been produced by the CWU, others are signposted by additional providers.

There are numerous online providers and thousands of online courses available to you. The choice is yours and we can assist with not only finding the course you want but also funding up to £200.00 (two hundred pounds) of the course fees.

So whether you are currently working, re-deployed or furloughed and want to do something constructive, enjoyable or perhaps life-changing, give us a call/e-mail us.

Learning Resources

There are lots of courses that cover many different topics and in the current climate, classroom study is very limited indeed. Below are some resources that you can use to find online courses that you may be interested in. Many courses are free and even if they are not, funding may be available through the CWU or the Welsh Union Learning Fund (WULF) to help you get back into learning.
