A Mental Health First Aider can offer comfort and support in a crisis until help arrives. Mental health problems are not as frightening as most people think. When a person has a mental health problem what they need most is someone who can: listen calmly to their feelings and fears.
Mental Health First Aid is all about recovery and resiliency – the belief that individuals experiencing these challenges can and do get better, and use their strengths to stay well.
We are always looking for people to join our team and become a Mental Health First Aider. Interested? Use the 'Contact Us' page and leave us a message.
